This fitting allows you to connect a regular vacuum cleaner to the filter/outlet port on a clarke desktop sand blasting cabinet in order to help suck away the dust and stop it leaking out around the seal on the main door. It has a rotating adjustment ring that lets you alter the strength of the suction so that the main door doesn't wind up getting sucked inwards too much. This was designed in openSCAD with the assistance of the threads.scad library from Dan Kirshner.
