Vacuum Formed Face Shield V1

This is currently a concept design and has NOT been approved or endorsed by any medical body.This face shield uses a vacuum formed PET visor with 3-dimensional curvature to maximise coverage of the face. PET is a readily available transparent, impact resistant material that can be easily formed. PET is a hygenic material (most drinks bottles are made of PET).The buckles can be 3D printed on any FDM 3D printer without the need for support material. Or they can be molded in 2-piece mold. The harnesing is comprised of a 25mm wide polypropylene strap and a 25mm wide hook-and-loop strap for adjustment. V1.1 - The buckle subassembly has been simplified to 3 components. These parts can still be FDM 3D printed without support, however if injection molding the main buckle piece will now need a 3-part mold. This update has also reduced the number of holes in the PET visor.
