The nozzle connects to Dewalt universal adapter (DWV9000) using the same locking mechanism as their other tools. Two versions: locked and free rotating. The locked version have 30 holes that will lock into 3 metal balls inside the adapter to retain its position. The free rotating version use a groove and will rotate freely.
