The function of this car is travel down the track as quickly and adeptly as possible. The car is propelled by a PASCO fan and wheels and has a metal rod with a flag that is attached to the back of the car while it is moving down the track. This enables the monitors to measure the amount of time it takes the car to make it from the beginning of the track to the end of the track. The goal of this project is to understand how different variables (such as mass, current, voltage, etc.) affect the amount of time it takes the car to travel down the track and to analyze the other factors that come into play.
