Protocol 781-A Phantom
###Before Printing - check if the part is on the right side - check if you have enough infill/perimeter - is your print bed big enough (20x20cm)? -> if not, rescale in your slicer
About The Project
This is my first really big 3D model. As a template I only had a 2D picture, because I wanted to get the model done before release (didn't work out). So don't see it as an exact replication, but as an adaptation to 3D printing. :) ...also the model became a little thicc The new skin series of Valorant has fascinated me and so I decided to rebuild the Protocol 781-A Phantom skin in original size. The print time is expected to be in the neighborhood of 80 hours and will require at least about 700g of filament. The parts can be plugged together, but the model requires glue to hold everything together. Important: The individual parts are designed for a print bed size of about 20 centimeters. I myself print at 90% size on my Prusa Mini+, so it should work on most printer sizes.
Print Settings
I recommend printing the model in 0.25mm layer height to get a good balance between quality and speed. In my case, I chose 4 perimeters and 10% infill. This makes the model particularly stable and has a good weight. Other values are of course also possible. Your printer should also be calibrated well enough, since the individual parts have about 0.3-0.5mm distance to each other.
You don't want it wide?
As I said, the model is not perfect and such far-reaching changes in Fusion unfortunately no longer work for me. One way to get a good scaling of the weapon is to reduce the thickness (y-height) to 50%.
