Valve Index Controller wall mount using Command Hooks w/USB holder

Holder for Valve Index controllers with a spot for hanging the USB cord when not in use.

The idea here is that they hook on to a command hook's back piece. Command hooks come in 3 parts. The adhesive, a piece that sticks onto the adhesive, and a cover with the hook itself that hides all that ugliness. This part uses the first two pieces and takes the place of the cover.

I took the holder for Vive controllers (much simpler, since there's a big 'ol hole to hang with) and basically subtracted the official 3D model for Valve Index controllers.

This is the right hand controller, you'll need to print another one reversed for lefty. How to tell them apart? Well, if you just print one of each, you're golden but if there's a mix up, take a look at that grove on the handle. One end of the grove points to the floor, the other points to the other controller. The grooves like each other, finding the other groovy. Make that happen.

I used Command™ Medium Wire Hooks. It might work with other hooks, I don't know how many parts 3M reuse across product lines.

Print instructions

Print directly for righty.
Mirror print for lefty.
