Valve Index Drop Top Twist Top Rail V1

This is a rail designed to be used with the Valve Index Controllers. You can chose to use either the Twist-In feature (Twist Top), or the Drop-In Magnetic feature (Drop Top). You can mix and match too. For example you can use a Twist Top for one hand and a Drop Top for the other. Just turn the core upside down! The space for the magnets is currently 20mm x 6 mm (diameter x height). For a full set you have to print: - 1 Forward Knuckle - 1 Aft Knuckle - 2 Pipes - 2 Cores - 2 Bolts And add: - 2 20mm x 6 mm (diameter x height) magnets Right handed version only. You can attempt to mirror if you like, but it is currently untested. Heck, this whole thing is currently untested! Features: - can be used as a twist-to-lock or a magnet-to-lock - multiple rail attachment points - can link rails to desired length Possible Issues: - threaded parts may not thread correctly - interlocking pieces may not lock due to printing tolerances - has never been printed (being honest here) - fore and aft knuckle clamp angles Future Improvements: - rear stock (delaying design until main elements are addressed) - leftie version - specific magnet type specified This is a heavy WIP.
