The resolution can be easily increased by subdividing it further. The model is already a solid object, so you're ready for subdivision at any time. For higher performance, we've added a Turbosmooth modifier with 2 iterations on top of the mesh geometry. We centered the scene at its origin. Rendering was done using Vray 3.0 and a basic material without textures. The lighting setup in the 3ds Max scene is not included, but can be easily set up again if needed.
