Dancing Faun of Pompeii hollow mask. Actually it's NOT original sculpture. I modified it for easier spiral/vase mode printing. Actually it's NOT completely watertight due to today slicing software limitations although it can be sealed with epoxy (as I did). Given the technology development growth some day one can printed it watertight without any post processing! I filled it with fluorescent liquid and placed on concrete stand. How I Designed This I wanted something really challenging for my liquid filled prints project. After experimenting with scan of my face, I downloaded Dancing Faun by CosmoWenman and started optimization for spiral print. Especially I increased slope angles (spiral print on slopes below 45% is too difficult for most machines) and remove holes through model. What I ended up with is a compromise between original shape of the sculpture and FDM printers/slicers capabilities.
