Need some quick plant pots? I gotcha!

Print instructions

My daughter designed a plant pot a few years ago, and I printed it out for her but I was surprised how long it took to print such a small thing (about 3 hours).

I have a lot of succulents and need lots of pots. I have lots of little teracota pots that are really cute, but with the hole in the bottom, you need the holder/saucer to stop water dribbling everywhere... So I thought I'd design a low profile reservoir... then thought, why stop there... so some pots were designed as well.

The hexagram pots fit in the tray a certain way. See the images for the details.

Use an opaque filament so light won't interfere with any root growth and promote algae growth on the inside of the pot.

As an added bonus, I thought I'd add some code that prints out the pots in vase mode with a patterned base with holes in. Turns out this is quite a mission to do. If you don't have a Prusa Mini and use Galaxy silver with the BondTech extruder upgrade you may want to edit the GCODE to change the ESTEPS from 410.058 to yours (default is 335 for the Mini) and probably your extrusion multiplier or generate your own. This is how I did it:

https://www.tribalrhino.com/2020/06/vases-mode-with-holes-in-bottom.html
