Vase mode self watering pot

There are many self-watering planters but I wanted one you can print in Vase Mode.
It should be faster, use less material and still be water-tight.

Use Spiral Vase or whatever it's called in your Slic3r.
Extrusion width should be 0.7mm+ with 0.4mm nozzle, otherwise, you get a slinky like in one of the images.
I print with PLA(+?) at 220 Temp for the outer to be more water-tight.
Post print you need to poke holes in the bottom part of the inner part. use a hot stick or drill or any other poking method.
When I use a good PLA I manage to get it water-tight from the printer, but with a lousy PLA, I coat the inside (mostly the connection between the walls and the floor) with candle wax. only the outer part needs to be water-tight. don't use materials that are toxic to plants!

I used 0.3mm layer height, but it shouldn't matter.

The one in the beautiful pictures is at a 200% scale. the fit is perfect at 100-125% scale, but you don't need a friction fit because it can stand on its foot.

Also, I'm still not sure which plants like to be in a self-watering pot, and in which growing medium. if you can help me on this subject I'll appreciate it :)
