The model was initially built with the professional software tool, 3ds Max 2016, and exported into a variety of formats for easier collaboration. The model's level of detail can be increased by subdividing it further. This model is initially presented as one solid geometry object, but it can easily be subdivided for higher resolution graphics. Turbosmooth modifier is used on top of the mesh geometry with 2 iterations to provide a smoother and more detailed finish. The object's position in the scene is centered at its origin. This 3D model was created using Vray 3.0, combined with simple Vray standard material without any added textures for extra realism. Illumination setup is not included within the provided 3ds Max scene file. Measurements for optimal 3D printing results are: diameter of 9.287cm, width of 9.245cm and a height of 23.81cm.
