Vast Board Game Print & Play Components

Here are the component files I designed for the board game Vast: The Crystal Caverns. You'll find pawns for all of the characters (and a sticker sheet to print out), treasure chests, thief vaults, and basically all of the disks, cubes, and tokens you'll need if you decide to make your own bits for the game. Files for all of the tiles, cards, boards, etc of the game are available online - visit the publisher's website (ledergames.com) to learn all about it. Note that I believe the link to the pnp files are near the bottom of the game's kickstarter page, so you'll have to navigate a bit. But start at Leder Games, that way you can learn all about Vast first. Or visit boardgamegeek.com and search for Vast, you'll find lots of info there too. It's a great game, a highly asymmetric dungeon battle. It is a very big job to build the entire thing from scratch, it's definitely not a beginner gaming project. So it may be cheaper and easier to just buy the game from Leder Games. :) That said, here's a rundown of what you'll need to print if you go the pnp route: Red One Dragon Asleep Pawn (Black or Red) One Dragon Awake Pawn (Black or Red) Four 25mm Disks (for Goblins) Three Red 10mm Cubes (2 for Hero, 1 for Dragon) Dark Brown Two 21mm Disks (Dragon Shriek & Firewall Tokens) Fourteen 10mm Cubes (for Dragon) Dark Purple Thirty-Six 25mm Squares (for Cave Omens) Thirteen 21mm Disks (for Cave Events & Rockfall Tokens) Light Purple (or whatever color you prefer) Three 21mm Disk (for Dragon Gem Tokens) Nine Giant Crystals Green One Green 10mm Cube (for Dragon) Three 21mm Disks (for Goblins) Twelve 25mm Disks (for Goblins) Three Goblin Tribe Pawns Yellow or Tan One Knight Pawn Seven 10mm Cubes (for Knight) Three 21mm Disks (for Knight Bomb Tokens) Gold Six Vault Gold ‘Slugs’ (see assembly note) Six Closed Treasure Chests Six Open Treasure Chests (actually the ratio of open/closed can be whatever you want) Light Grey Six Vault Stonework (see assembly note) Dark Grey One Thief Pawn Four 21mm Disks (for Thief) Five 10mm Cubes (for Thief) I should also note that there is one component that I did not design. The Giant Crystals listed here were created by Tothe, I simply scaled them to fit on the Vast tiles. They're fantastic and really fit the game well. When printing the vaults for the Thief there is some assembly required. First print all of your Gold (the Vault Gold file). Then start printing your Vault Stonework pieces, but set your printer to pause at 5mm. When it pauses insert a gold piece into each in-progress stonework. Start the print back up and you'll have a slug of little gold coins printed inside the vault. Be careful when you do this - if you don't get the gold slug seated all the way into the stonework cavity it'll interfere with the head of your printer! I take no responsibility for any damage or issues you have in doing this - be careful. The worst thing that happened to me was my stepper motor whined for a couple of seconds and I had a botched print. Enjoy!
