Want to adventure as a knight and slay a dragon? How about being a dragon and escaping the cave to go pillage? Or maybe control a cave and kill everyone inside? If you answered yes to any any of these questions, then check out Vast the Crystal Caverns by Leder Games. The uploaded Thing Files contain everything you need to make the 7 custom meeples for Vast: an stl file to 3D print a pdf file of the artwork to print on sticker paper a studio3 file to cut the stickers out (silhouette portrait file). If you change the scale of one, you need to change the scale of the other. Post-Printing 1 - Ensure the bottoms and sides of the prints are flat by sanding down any build lines or unevenness. 2 - Seal the prints with a primer and paint to final colors (if printed in final colors, skip this step) 2 - Print out the PDF for the artwork on photo sticker paper and cut using an x-acto knife. If you have a Silhouette Portrait, you can use the .studio3 file to cut out the artwork. 3 - Apply stickers to the prints. How I Designed This I downloaded the artwork from the print and play supplied by Leger Games, and used the Illistrator Live Trace tool to convert it to line work. I then used SolidWorks to extrude the line work into a 3D object. Check out the video linked above for more details about creating these custom meeples.
