Vehicle Resonation Operating On Motion (VROOM) Car

thingiverse

Say goodbye to boring old fashioned toy cars with their man-made sounds and lack of electronics integration, and say hello to the VROOM Car! This cutting-edge new children's toy incorporates a PIR motion sensor run by a WIO node hooked up to a LiPo battery with LABVIEW code to play realistic car noises (or whatever sounds you'd like!) through a Bluetooth speaker when the car is in motion. This design contains the top and bottom of the car which contain all the electronics and fit together. LEGO pieces were originally used for the axles and wheels, but any materials that function with the design can be used. This creation was part of a prototyping final project for an introductory engineering class at Tufts University.
