The Veho VMS-001 x20-x200 Magnification Discovery Digital USB Microscope is inexpensive and works well but it's a pain to focus manually. This attachment utilize a simple focus wheel driven by a HTX900 servo controlled by a server tester to allow the user to remotely adjust the microscope magnification in very small increment. The focus wheel is a customized version of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:16627 Instructions Assembly: Mount the wheel to servo horn using the screws then attach the servo to the attachment. Power the servo with any servo tester. Zero the microscope to the the closest position (x20) and the wheel to the right-most position before final assembly, so the the servo will change focus from approx. x20-x100 which is sufficient to cover any subject from min. to about 25 cm.
