I have several Velbon tripods, and one of them lost the cap that goes on top of the central tube. I lived without it for a couple of years, but now that I have a 3D printer, I made a simple replacement piece. Maybe this will make it simpler for someone else :-) I printed mine in PLA, standard quality, 10% fill... only took about 15 minutes to print.
