GrabCAD
This simplistic Designed Bike Clock is to complement the current Velodroom lights. This design will contain only 2 buttons (on the back) one button for hour, and you guessed it one button for minute, That's it!!
The idea is the this clock will work the same as the front light, when the bike moves the clock will turn on etc.. the backlight will increase/decrease in brightness based on current lighting conditions .
I have also added 2 additional functions:
-compass......well because I can.
-"Ride time" every time the clock is turned on the "Ride time" will 0 and will inform the rider how long they have ridden.
As far as I as I'm aware a clock and how long you have ridden are the 2 main questions when actually riding, all other function are a novelty (and quickly wear off), this device will make it far safer to check the time rather than checking your watch/phone even at night.
Note : All other riding functions (I'm not talking professionals) can be completed on a phone and can be considerably better than any bike computer.
