*Update (2022/03/14) => I redesigned the drum. The original drum I created reduced cutting of the candy, however, the new version is even better still. I have only included one drum size. For additional sizes go to my Improved Drums post here => https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5316373 The following parts are additions to the original design: -Hatch Lock (allows you to lock the hatch without a padlock) -Hatch Lock Tools (Tool for tightening and loosening Hatch Lock. Not necessary because it is easy enough to hand tighten the locks) ----------------------------------------------------------- The following parts have been modified: Body: -This is a remix of MakerBobDesign's Vend body remix (which had improved supports from the original) -The only change I made was converting the raised 25 cent label with a recessed one to make it easier to insert coins. Coin Cam -This is a merger of the best parts of Oliver84's 'Improved Coin Cam' design with MakerBobDesign's 'Remixed Vending Machine" Coin Cam -This Coin Cam along with MakerBobDesign's remixed Coin Lock Pins (included) prevent coins misfeeds and prevent the Coin Locks from slipping and getting jammed. Drum -This is a modification of Mr_MegaTronic's original drum. -The new drum has a reduced capacity and skims candies out of the hopper without cutting the candies like the original did. -This drums yields 5 Peanut M&Ms, 20 M&Ms, or 16 Smarties candies. -For additional sizes go to my Improved Drums post => https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5316373 ----------------------------------------------------------- The following parts are from MakerBobDesign's Remixed Vending Machine and have been reposted here for you convenience. -Coin Lock Pins (required for my modified coin cam) -Clips (much easier to insert and remove than original clips) -Coinflap (support tabs easier to cut off than original) -CoinFace (more printer friendly etchings than original) ----------------------------------------------------------- All remaining parts are from the original VEND by Mr_MegaTronic and have been reposted here for your convenience. ----------------------------------------------------------- PRINTING NOTES This was printed with a layer height of 0.2 mm, a wall thickness of 0.8 mm, and an infill of 8% I recommend base supports for the coin lock pins only. Supports are not required for the remaining parts. I recommend printing the Coin Cam and Coin Lock Pins in the same colour as the body for aesthetic purposes.
