So this is clearly inspired by the Foldable Brushed Microquad by ulflindestrom (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1604440), but here it's been totally remade from scratch for 6mm motors, Hubsan FC, and Eachine H8 Mini (45mm) props. At 75mm folded out, it's one of the smallest micros I've ever heard of! Not sure how big folded up, but it certainly ought to fit in your pocket. Enjoy! UPDATE 9:07PM 8/2/16: Added 7mm motor mounts for many who requested them :) make sure to cut your props to 45mm though or this won't work. I'm not sure if you can just do that and have it work but I have loads of extra Hubsans so I'll try it. UPDATE 11:07PM 8/2/16: Cut some Hubsans to 45mm with nail clippers, a Sharpie, and a ruler. They fit well and I balanced them with a needle and some magnets. They seem to do okay... Haven't flown them yet (obviously) but they were easy to mod. UPDATE 11:33PM 8/2/16: Made each plate 4mm longer so that the arms fold in more flush with the body than before. Not a big deal but since I'm so friggin OCD I literally couldn't sleep thinking about it... UPDATE 8:30PM 8/3/16: RobQuarters brought it to my attention that the motor mounts were just too tight for the motors to fit in there, so I made them all 0.25mm larger. I also labelled everything "xxxx_v2" because I have changed little things along the way so this is to clarify that. The plates are the same as they were yesterday at 11:33PM. UPDATE 1:19PM 8/4/16: At the request of tomoquads, I added some 8.5mm mounts. UPDATE 12:29PM 8/7/16: Made some better mounts. Made them all .3mm larger than the intended motor size to fit perfectly. Also added 2 plates to fit a Scisky FC. Post-Printing As with ulflindestrom's design, use 4 M3 screws and nuts (I recommend nylon for weight) to hold it together. I also recommend Eachine H8 Mini props, a Hubsan X4 FC, and some Eachine (cuz they're cheap) 150mAh or larger batteries. You can glue on LEDs too if you like but at this size, that's usually unnecessary weight. How I Designed This I looked at ulflindestrom's design and decided a 6mm for the Tiny Whoopers out there might be fun, plus my old 6mm Hubsan died ;(, so I have some time to waste waiting for parts. Basically just spent 3 hours giving myself a headache (thanks TinkerCAD) but at least it seems worth it ;)
