Ventilator

I built this motorized resuscitator/Ventilator over the past 10 days. It uses a very readily available 1500ml emergency (Bagger) manual resuscitator (which can have oxygen connected to it) and is driven by a very common and inexpensive automotive wiper motor. All the main parts were designed in SolidWorks and printed on my Prusa 3D printer out of Pet G plastic. You can manually adjust the frequency (breaths per min) and the volume of air per breath. At a rate of 13 BrPM the fully charged 5ah battery should last about 10 Hr. The purpose for me building this was to help assist someone to breathe if they contracted the COVID-19 virus. The ventilator is still in development and is advised as a "last resort device" Parts list for motorized resuscitator/Ventilator 1, Manual Resuscitator 1500ml Silicone Adult Ambu Bag and Oxygen Tube CPR First Aid kit eBay $47.00 Or NE commerce PVC Tubing & Reservoir BVM Bag, Adult from Amazon $17.98 These manual resuscitators are available from many suppliers and for the most part they are pretty much the same. 2, Full Face Mask “ixaer” with adjustable head gear UPC: 192240707976 Amazon $51.99 3, Premium Universal CPAP Tubing Hose 72" - 6 Foot - by MARS WELLNESS. from Amazon $8.99 4, RioRand 12V-40V 10A PWM DC Motor Speed Controller number RRPDMSCSGSPC From Amazon $10.99 5, OLS 12V DC 30A 3-Pin SPST LED on / Off Rocker Switch – RED eBay $3.99 6, Toyota replacment wiper motor Manufacturer #REPT361101 Carparts.com $22.78 7, DeWalt 20 Volt max XR battery and charger from Home Depot 8, Miscellaneous Parts: Copper plate: 1/16 thick. I also used some aluminum spacers as they were on hand but plastic would also work just fine. Video: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1MZPcfW2a9q74XWDRSz_38LY3QQJAZ5Lt?usp=sharing
