This is a venus box based on the original design with my own twist. its project Irelia themed from League of Legends because his wife is Irelia and the theme is cool and because Irelia is one of the few champions that pull it off well. this was intended as a Christmas present for a good friend called Cwis. I had many delays and trial prints before I could get it to work. now for print instructions+ notes.______________________________________INSTRUCTIONSif your 3d printer does not support f3d use fusion 360, upload the files then 3d print by clicking the file icon then 3d print. (or use the stl files in the stl folder)it will give you the option to send directly to your 3d printing software or download it as an stl file.do NOT print the assy closed, it will not work it's only for visual reference1-check to see if your bed has enough space for the base, the base's largest dimension is 7.5056 inches.you should be able to print with a 0.3mm nozzle(draft quality on Prussia mki3 slicer).a higher-quality(1.5+mm quality on Prussia mki3) is needed if you print at half scale because the tolerances aren't super high at half scale.- 2 print 2 lid int's and 2 lid ext's because they are rotationally symmetrical. (if any supports are used use them on the hinge )- 3 print ring with a brim. (it should not need any supports.)remove all supports :pslide 2 of the lid int's together.slide 2 of the lid ext's together.close them together on top of the base.then cover with the lid so that all the pegs are covered by the ring.then put 2 of the tabs under the ledge on the ring.then quickly and forcefully push the ring so the ring slightly flexes over the 3rd tab.if your having difficulties try filing the tabs on both the ring and the base. ___________________notesI test printed at half scale and full scale and it should go together well.there are tabs on the cylinders for the lids so that they don't lift during the print (something that had a 1/4 chance of happening even in ideal conditions.)there should not be any need to use a raft for any pieces however used a brim for the ring and the 2 covers. the model was made in inches if your 3d printing software doesn't use the imperial system scale it accordingly :pif anyone wants me to make a different themed base dm me @ Plato#5217 on discord :p
