I was having a hell of a time getting the teeth to print for the Venus Box. The little semi-circular hinge seemed to fail every time. I added a little leg for structural support (mirroring the original, non-toothed design) and that seems to help with the point where the fail occurred. ALSO - My slicer did something weird with the internal structure where the leg meets the hinge the first time around. You may need to play with your slicer settings to make sure that there's no hollow space inside of the hinge... just verify that your layers make sense, and that this slices as a solid object connected by a tiny bit of material. Print Settings Printer: Monoprice Dual Extruder Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: Make sure your lowest print layers are slow, and that you're getting good adhesion. If you have bad adhesion, this isn't going to help out anyway. Post-Printing After you print, snip off the little leg with something that's made to snip things.
