Vertical Board Mount for DIN Rails

Vertical Board Mount for DIN Rails

thingiverse

I needed a way to mount miscellaneous boards on a DIN rail. Shown are a FET board and an adjustable voltage regulator. I found a nice Pi Zero mount (see attribution) and filled in the holes and plane gap, added a release tang on the clip and tightened the slot on the non-release clip end. All these changes were done in TinkerCAD. I plan to hand drill screw holes or hot glue to mount the boards to the back plane. Use whatever method seems best for the board in question, as long as it's a reliable securing system and test it thoroughly before putting into service.
