I'm creating a low-poly cartoon prop model in Maya 2019 that's totally bare and stripped down. It's then transformed into three formats - FBX, OBJ, and MB for Maya scenery - so it can be easily adapted to different uses. The polygons come in at 820, tris total 1544, while vertices hit a count of 1625. Along with this detailed mesh model, I'm also providing UVW mapping, which helps designers get started on their textures immediately. Furthermore, UVLayout is brought into the mix, providing a precise setup for unwrapping this complex mesh in various environments.
