I added a minor tweak to the VESA base design. The nut pockets were removed and the holes were drilled to a tighter tolerance of 2.8mm, allowing for smooth threading of a 3mm screw. This adjustment reduces the need for precise screw lengths, making the process more efficient. In my experience, a 3mm screw threaded into a 2mm PLA hole provides sufficient strength for this application. Additionally, I slightly tightened the mounting holes for the Pi by approximately 0.1mm to better accommodate the plastic retention pegs used in the design. These pegs are now threaded all the way through, enabling easy removal from the bottom instead of relying on pliers near the Pi.
