Vesa mount 75mm for the AOC Q3279VWF Monitor Additional Items needed: 2 M4 x 30 mm As Bolts to mount the top part to the bottom part 4 M3 x 20 mm To Screw the bottom part to the inside of the monitor Installation Guide: To install you have to open the monitor and remove the old mount completely including the tilt mechanism inside. Then mount the bottom part to where the tilt mechanism used to be. To do that use 4 M3 screws. After that close the monitor and connect the top part of the mount with the two long M4 screws. Now you can attach your normal Vesa compatible monitor arm or wall mount to the monitor as described in the user manual. Improvements: The reason I remove the tilt mechanism of the old stand completely is, that I was unable to remove the screws. If you are able to remove the screws and got the time I would recommend you to design a mount that attaches to that tilt mechanism. There is generally a lot of room for improvement. First off the bottom part could be a few millimeters longer, so that it reaches outside of the case completely. That way the top part has direct contact with the full area of the bottom part for increased stability. Secondly the connection between the top and bottom part could be designed in a way, that one part goes into the other completely. That way the bolts would not be the only thing holding the mount together, when stressed in the upwards direction. The third thing is, that there could be insets for the screws on the top part, so that when you have a flat veas mount the screw heads of the bolts don't interfere. If you have this interference issue just use a drill and create some insets. Dangers: Also be aware, that you ruin your warranty, when opening your monitor and that there is a cable connecting the case and screen of the monitor which you have to be cautious not to tear off.
