VEX Custom 84-tooth Ring Gear A custom-made 84-tooth ring gear compatible with the VEX EDR robotics design system. This gear may be used in conjunction with VEX gears to create working planetary gearsets The standard gear is 0.25" thick, intended for the normal-strength VEX gears found in starter and educational robotics kits, and the HS gear is 0.5" thick, compatible with VEX high-strength gears. A VEX 84-tooth gear will mesh perfectly inside each of these gears. Planetary systems may be created from various combinations of 12-tooth, 36-tooth, and 60-tooth gears. The EZP versions have smooth undersides to facilitate better print bed adhesion. These gears are NOT intended for use in the VEX Robotics Competition. They are meant for educational purposes.
