You may be able to print her with an FDM machine, but that was not my intention, and so the files are in no way optimised for doing so!

All parts have been test sliced and hollowed (if necessary) in Chitubox.

As of the time of upload, I'm working my way through printing her myself, though I have had the full model test printed by Renegade 3D Prints (@RenxBlackout) on Twitter, and can confirm that she prints with no issues.

When printing, I'd suggest hollowing most of the parts, with the exception of the hair piece:

VI-Head-Bangs

Everything else is big enough to be hollowed nicely.

---

A note on hollowing and drainage holes

Regarding the Gauntlet pieces specifically - please make sure to add drainage holes at the tips of each of the fingers, and also the thumb. Due to the varying thickness of these parts, when hollowed, the very tips become isolated, and will not be able to drain from the regular drainage holes you might add elsewhere on the part, thus trapping resin inside. A simple hole on each finger tip (which will be hidden when assembled) fixes this.

ALSO - The gauntlet parts A + B are a little tighter a fit than I intended, but they DO fit together with some gentle persuasion - No hammers needed..

Printing on an OG Elegoo Mars?

You and me both! All of the parts fit nicely, though the trousers are a liiiiitle too tight a fit, and so to remedy this, without having to scale her down, I've made a variation of the trousers called: VI-Trousers-SHORTER-Z. This is the same as the regular model but I've lopped a little off the top (Which is hidden under the jacket when assembled) to make them a little easier to fit. Try both, and see which you prefer, though SHORTER-Z is definitely easier to setup in my experience.

---

Putting her together should be pretty self explanatory. You can use the images provided as reference if you need to for both assembly, and also paint.

For the base, if printing on FDM, consider printing it on it's side. Cura was trying to print the top surface a little oddly for me, so I printed it on its side instead, and it printed great. (This was for the Jinx model, but they share the same base (minus connection points).

If there are any issues with the files, I'll do my best to be helpful. Also, if you're using a slicer which ‘checks’ the models before printing, please don't panic if it tells you any of the parts are ‘non-manifold’ - this will simply be from the boolean operations around the joints. Just ignore it!

I look forward to seeing some of these printed, and painted!

THESE FILES ARE PROVIDED FOR FREE ON A NON-COMMERCIAL LICENSE - PLEASE DO NOT SELL PRINTS OR COPIES OF THESE FILES
