Vibratory feeders are versatile feed and orientation devices, and are being widely used in many fields of industry. Patented in 1953 by Mario Thomas Sgriccia, these machines have the ability to continuously or intermittently carry parts in bulk, according to a specied route or course, and use vibration to provide material for a process or machine, consistently, always in the same position and with the same disposition, bringing benefits such as reduction of handling costs and speed of the process. Basically, the vibratory feeder is mechanically analyzed by two fundamental divisions in its structure, a drum, where there is a track, usually inside the equipment, through which the material travels when exposed to a certain vibration, and a base with a vibratory system, which corresponds to the set of parts and devices responsible for support and movement of the structure, these components, are respectively known as, vibratory bowl and vibratory base. This is a work realized by me and a friend of mine, Alfeu Souza (linkedin.com/in/alfeusouza), presented to the college where we graduated in Mechanical Engineering. Some modifications has been realized since this CAD version has been developed.
