Viking Inspired helmet with visor and "rivets"

thingiverse

A Fatbeard Original. This is a multipiece part. It is a full shell helmet(should fit on a 235mm square build surface...turn at 30-45degrees), Faceplate/visor and "rivets". The rivets are more push pins than actual rivets, designed to be glued in place. Made them to be finished separately and put in place. Based on a Gjermundbu style, but strictly not authentic. Face plate may receive an update in future to tilt it away from face a bit more. I would print this in PLA, at a layer height of .2. The base helmet will need supports. A thin craft foam liner would make this fit and wear nicely for most people. rivet holes in back could be used for a chainmail avenguard. Edit: second version of visor and rivets added. The heads of the rivets were too small IMHO. The visor is the same except for the "Helm of Awe" symbol has been replaced with the "Gungnir" symbol as it prints much better.
