Here is my interpretation of a whorl pipe, originally designed by the father of biomimicry and vortex research, Viktor Schauberger. It is a implosion vortex based pipe for augmenting the flow characteristics of water. It is designed around the Kudu antelope. The cross sectional shape was taken from Viktor's patent to exact dimensions. The narrowing of the cross sectional profile occurs at approximately the rate a hyperbolic funnnel decreases. The indented egg shape profile, constant throughout the tube, rotates oppositely to the spiral itself at about the same interval, which is biomimicry of the natural Kudu horn.
