Vintage Gas Pump phone charger

Vintage Gas Pump phone charger

For those people who don't have a Tesla, I created a phone charger from a vintage gas pump. :) Everything is designed to print **WITHOUT SUPPORTS**. Tolerances are set at 0.1mm which makes a VERY snug fit but allows the model to be held together without any glue. You may have to use a little force to get the pieces together the first time. Of course, this will vary depending how well calibrated your printer is. Model has been optimized for 0.4 mm width nozzles (using 0.4 mm line width). I prefer 0.28 mm layer height (looks better than 0.3 mm without adding significant print time). Red: * Front - has raised white lettering * Back White: * Gas Sign - has raised black lettering * Display - has raised black lettering Silver/Gray: * Retaining ring * Base For layers with raised lettering, change filament before last 2 layers. To change filament, you can add the following lines of gcode before the raised lettering layers. > G28 X0 Y0 ; home to move print head out of the way > M0 ; pause **UPDATE: 10/17/2018** I adjusted tolerances slightly on some of the parts. They are currently designed with 0.1 mm tolerances between parts. If you are still struggling to assemble parts, please let me know, and I will make some pieces with looser tolerances. **UPDATE: 12/20/2018** I modified the red body to make 2 versions: * Red Back iPhone - for lightning and micro-usb connectors * Red Back USB-C - for usb-c connectors
