<p>Modeled a old brass knob to have a pair for a drawer. (Cover photo printed in HobbyKing Copper Glitter PLA)</p><h3>Print Settings (as set in "Ornate Knob Threaded M4.3mf"):</h3><ul><li>0.1mm Detail (used 0.25 Nozzle)</li><li>20% Infill</li><li>No Supports Needed</li><li>Avoid Crossing Perimeters</li><li>Seam position Rear (and paint seam in threaded area to be a line, makes it easier to screw in)</li></ul><figure class="image"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/307088/rich_content/85466d8c-1f42-4997-866d-4802cfc972aa/seams.png#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%2203ac0046-1786-49b5-95c0-e4fa93fc6971%22%2C%22w%22%3A1477%2C%22h%22%3A821%7D"></figure><ul><li>Skirt height 1 layer</li><li>Brim width 6mm</li><li>Brim separation gap 0mm</li></ul><p>(I used a large brim so that the knob wouldn't come off the build plate.)</p><p>You may need to change your retraction settings so you don't get a lot of stringing as gcode has my retracting settings as is mainly there just for a time estimate for a high quality print.</p><h3>Modeling Suggestions:</h3><p>I made the knob to fit a M4 bolt but included a 3mf that has no threads to add your own.&nbsp;</p><p>I would recommend adding a negative offset to your threads so that's it not a super tight fit.</p><figure class="image"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/307088/rich_content/3cfecdb6-4ffa-44d3-b557-18e6a3957022/section.png#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%225087138c-9aba-49e0-a67e-4c3dda7e3d21%22%2C%22w%22%3A1465%2C%22h%22%3A1084%7D"></figure>
