This is a 1/4 scale working model of the Antique 1934 Soeensen Co Triple Wet Stone Professional Sharpener, significantly enhanced by adding three more stones and an angle guide. It's actually the fifth iteration of a design I previously shared online at thingiverse.com/thing:3915466. You can easily place this machine next to your printer; it requires no setup whatsoever and will ensure all your tools are razor-sharp in no time. The body of the model may need supports during printing, while the box should be printed with high resolution and 100% infill to make it waterproof. I used ABS filament for my design, but other materials like PLA or PETG should also work just fine. The stones used in this machine come from a seven-stone set purchased on Amazon at Cheerbright. To assemble the sharpener, you'll need a 5/16 or M8 bolt washer, washer, and nut. When installing the stones, cut each of the 150mm stones in half by scoring them with a file and then breaking them apart. Use six of these halves in the machine and save the rest for later use. To secure the stones inside the machine, apply a small amount of poster putty to hold them in place, making it easy to remove them when needed. You can also choose between using oil or water as a lubricant; I personally prefer oil for its effectiveness.
