Hey guys. So, I wanted a cool deck holder for my Magic: The Gathering Commander Deck. I really liked the look of destroyer2012's box, but I needed it commander sized for sleeved decks. Enter Intentional3D's box. I laid the pattern of the destroyer box onto the sides of Intentional's box, adjusting for size, and making the hinge holes larger. I added a little more solid corners on the box, one of my tests broke on the corner, fitting the lift platform section in. I put all the pieces I could fit inside the box, made it just one file to print out. The following pieces are direct from other builds and can be reprinted seperately if needed: -Long Hinge -Pinion Gear Covers -Rack -Bottom Lift Plate -Hing Pieces -Pinion Gear Cover (Actually, I dont really remember if that's true. I might have edited the hinge spacing and sizes. If someone has trouble, hit me up and I'll add individual parts to the build as I sort them out) I definitely widened the hinge holes, makes it easier to thread wire to hold it all together. Print Settings Printer: DaVinci Jr Rafts: No Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: .4mm Infill: Hollow Notes: First print was with a brim, I wouldn't advise it, and supports, which take a while to clean out, but isn't the worst idea. A raft is a bad idea, the bottom lift plate would have trouble separating. I would print the thinnest possible sturdy setting, and keep the print hollow if able. This is most important for the long hinges that connect the Pinion Gear Covers, there was little tolerance for a thicker printing. the pegs tended to tear the long hinge's socket. Post-Printing Miscellaneous suggestions So, if you do supports be sure to clear out the supports INSIDE the long hinges. The Gear cover peg is almost perfectly sized to fit in the socket.
