Vive Pro DAS Adapter

**** There is someone on eBay selling these (which is ok) but is using my photos without my permission (which is NOT ok). I have nothing to do with this seller and have asked them to stop using my photos but they have ignored me. Please do not purchase from them thinking it is my auction. You can "Order This Printed" here on Thingiverse from different sellers at various prices (probably cheaper). **** FYI, the Cosmos Wireless Adapter Kit uses the same cable as the Vive Pro Adapter Kit and comes with a battery so its the better deal if you are using the Vive Pro DAS mod and want to go wireless. This is an adapter that allows the Vive Deluxe Audio Strap (DAS) to attach to the Vive PRO. ****(As always use at your own risk. Not responsible for any damage to Vive Pro or DAS.)**** These are an extremely tight fit into DAS... so be sure to test with DAS before trying to attach to Vive Pro. If you cannot get them to fit (should be very tight fit)... you can scale down by 1%. I use 100% infill because they need to be very strong. You need to remove the screw and plastic gasket that attaches the Vive Pro Strap to the Vive Pro (first detach the audio cables from the Vive Pro Strap... cable connector pops out don't pull it). I fed the cables back through the hole into the headset and taped with black tape before putting the adapter in. *** I found a better way to deal with the audio cables. I fed the plastic connector into the hole where the wire comes out and the rest of the wire I wrapped inside the circle where the adapter comes out. This works out better since there is no wire that you have to tape somewhere in the headset. I added a photo to show this. *** Make sure to test the adapter first by popping into DAS hole before trying to attach to Vive Pro. Be sure to file or sand any burrs or ridges where the adapter inserts into DAS. Then just twist sideways to pop adapter out of DAS... and insert adapter into side hole in Vive Pro headset. Will take quite a bit of pressure again to get adapter into DAS... but generally less that the initial test. You will need a USB C to audio adapter for the DAS headphones. This one seems to work well and is cheap: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RMY3V9D/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
