Vive Tracker 3.0 Mount

Vive Tracker 3.0 Mount

Update: Due to the vibration sensitivity of the Tracker 3.0 this currently is not usable in most titles even with the damping. Edit: changed to WIP as I'm adding sorbothane damping and experimenting to reduce vibrations. This is a mount for an HTC Vive Tracker 3 to a Profile SimRig. I included a mirrored set that allows mounting on the left or right side of the rig depending on your lighthouse orientation. I have my light houses mounted to the front left corner and right rear corner of my VR room and both light houses have a good view of the tracker. The bolt pattern is for the vertical 40x120mm upright of a SimLab P1. The vertical profile will need to be threaded with an M8 tap. This bolts to the profile with 2 x M8x55mm socket head bolts. The tracker is attached with a 1/4x20 x 1" bevel head bolt The Tracker mount is angled at 5 degrees which when combined with a 0.2mm layer height creates a nice grippy stairstep pattern. You may need to slightly rotate the tracker to fit the M8 allen key into the front mount hole. I'm using mine with this motion compensation software. https://github.com/BuzzteeBear/OpenXR-MotionCompensation
