Drone All Of The Things! ---------- **Want to mount an HTC Vive Tracker to a drone or other device which creates high frequency movement?** If you don't have vibration isolation your tracking accuracy will have a bad time (trust me, [I tried](https://vimeo.com/192134126)). This mount lets you access the Vive Tracker's pins, and uses standard anti-vibration rubber shock absorbing balls, which are commonly used when mounting cameras to drones. It's remixed from Shiratch's excellent "[Vive tracker pin connector convertible base](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2211803)" What Else Do I Need? ---------- - *3 x Rubber shock absorbing balls*, rated ~50g (I used [these ones from Hobbyking](https://hobbyking.com/en_us/vibration-damping-ball-50gram-8-pcs-bag.html)) - *1/4" Hex-head bolt*, around 1/4" long OR *1/4" Camera Mounting screw* (Choose knob design based on screw option) *Optional* - *3.96mm Right Angle Header Pins* ([like these ones](http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Molex/26-48-1122/)), if you'd like to connect buttons or other electronic stuff. I used standard straight 0.1" headers, split them all apart, bent them with pliers and hot-glued them in place, because I am a terrible person. - Hookup wire, killer/silly ideas, disregard for the dangers of flying a drone inside, etc. Attaching To Your Vibrating Object ---------- I've included two base options: One which is just the right size to fit underneath a Vive Tracker, and a longer one which can more easily be taped/zip-tied to your drone/vehicle/thing of choice. *If you'd like to edit/remix this object yourself, I've [made the design public on Tinkercad](https://www.tinkercad.com/things/lvNR8ijnyAW-vive-tracker-drone-vibration-mount)*.
