Vivitar 28mm 2.5: A very cheap vintage lens with outstanding character! Therefore I had to come up with a lens rehousing to use it on shoots. The parts fit very snug on the lens so there's no need for taking the lens apart. All parts are held together with grub screws. The front diameter measures 95mm, so works with clamp-on mattboxes while it maintains an inner diameter of 82mm for screw on filter (step up rings needed). Unfortuantely I haven't come up with a solution to maintain the iris markings. Right now they are hidden underneath the aputure gear. Will update sometime. I also encourage to adapt the M42 mount to an EF mount. Parts needed: - 15x M4 grub screws - step up ring: 67-82mm - tape & sanding paper Info: Some parts might need some sanding to fit perfectly. Also using ducktape helps to get the right fit. The crews secure the parts additionally. To fit the aputure gear I cut off the little A/M switch on the side of the lens. If you have any input on the deisgn let me know! I'm constatntly updating the designs of my rehousings!
