Adapter to mount gun sights (20mm Picatinny rail) on a standard finder mount (31mm Vixen/Synta slot). Goal of the project was to mount a cheap but solid gun sight, better than the cheap Celestron red dot finders, onto my telescope. All in all it set me back about 12 euros. Also works for some sights that are meant to be mounted on a DSLR flash shoe, like the Omegon Red Dot Finder. ### Design At the bottom front (Vixen) and the top back (Picatinny) I placed a flat plate, to keep the gun sight on the telescope even with all screws loose. ### Files Files include the STL file and the FreeCAD FCStd file, in case you'd like to modify anything. *Not intended for commercial use.*
