I wanted to mount a sound bar (VIZIO SB3821-C6) under my fireplace mantle without drilling into the tile behind it. This is designed to screw into the wood mantle vertically and allow the sound bar to float below. This would probably also work as a wall mount or as a foot to elevate one of these sound bars on a flat surface if mounted the other way around. Print Settings Printer: Rigidbot Big Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 25% Notes: Print with at least 3 loops, laying down flat. No support should really be needed. How I Designed This I measured the sound bar with calipers at about 66.5mm square, and rounded up to 77 for clearance. Then measured the radius of the rounded corners at 5mm, rounded up to 5.5 for clearance. I modeled a dummy of the bar in 123 and filet-ed the edges, then duplicated it and scaled the duplicate up by a factor of 1.05. Subtract the smaller from the larger. I pulled the top up and tweaked 3 sides inward, then subtracted a couple of 4m and 20mm cylinders offset from the center on the remaining top surface areas to create a screw hole and screwdriver clearance. I chamfered the corners left from subtracting the cylinders, and tweaked inward on a couple more points that looked structurally weak.
