Voron Blower Fan Duct Mod

Voron Blower Fan Duct Mod

thingiverse

This blower fan duct mod is meant to be a more rigid replacement to the blower fan duct on my Voron 3d printer build- not because it's necessary, but because I wanted to :P Check out the Voron subreddit and github, as well as MZBot's Website:https://www.reddit.com/r/voroncorexy/https://github.com/mzbotreprap/VORONhttp://mzbot.us/ The original fan duct is supported by one M3 screw and a large lip on the opposite side. This mod replaces half of the fan's body and includes the duct all in one solid piece supported by all three M3 screws. Yes, it requires surgery- you'll need to remove the intake side of the fan's body to use this duct/body mod. I've also included my inductive sensor mount mod, which also features 3 mount points as opposed to the original 2. Both parts print without supports. The supports I've modeled on the fan body/duct mod should come off with a twist with some pliers. Fusion 360 files included for those who want to tweak the design. Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 5 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .25mm layers Infill: 40% Notes: Brim makes things easier. Both parts took about 50 minutes to print (each).
