VOTE! 3D Sign

VOTE! 3D Sign

I wanted to do a 3D "VOTE!" sign but the flat signs with 3D letters seemed, well, boring. So I got the idea of having 3D letters that look different from different directions, originally from 2 directions. But then my wife suggested this idea: have a cube with different letters in all 4 directions. The files start with SVG files with regular text. I use coreldraw to generate my SVG files but any SVG file will probably work. Then I put it into the Letters.scad and use that to generate the letter*.stl files. You need 4 each of them. Then I created vote.scad to generate the cube. You can use this to adjust it so that it fits on the pole you have. Each cube has one letter on 2 sides and a different letter on the opposite side (except the T cube which has all 4 sides the same -- because VOTE! has an odd number of letters). Then I positioned them so that you could see all the cubes from any direction. Enjoy!
