VR Goggles for 7" Tablet

A VR goggle set up for 7" tablets. I was tired of the small screen on the iPhone so I designed this!. It takes 10 hours or so to print beware!! You can download a bunch of VR apps for Android for free and I plan to use the VR station to view SBS live wifi video stream from the UL drone as part of my low budget FPV drone setup. There are no mounting holes for a head strap as of yet, I haven't decided on which to use, feel free to mount your own for now. I used 15% fill but i would say 30 + would be better. I used the lenses from some Dollar Store binoculars for the optics and some self-adhesive foam strip around the face. I use thick rubber bands and some pieces of wood dowel to hold the tablet in for now, this will likely change in future revisions upon further testing. Use the Google Cardboard app to get started. Update 12-5-16: I added some pins to hold the rubber bands as well as another lensplate that has slightly narrower optics, and a tray assembly to glue or screw to the bottom & sides of the goggles to support tablet better YMMV Check back for more updates as I go.
