(update!): uploaded v5.1 which is based on a way bigger servo. I assembled v4.3 and figured out, that the servo can come to stall while lifting the heavy motor back up to vertical position. I think for smaller motors like maybe a up to a 2212 or so, it might be ok, but for my 2814 it is not strong enough. The servos I used for 5.1 are from a RC-car steering. Graupner C577 or ACOMS AS12 or similar fits for size. Now I am going to assemble the rest of the plane. Will post if it everything works. uploaded v4.3 This should be a working final design! After printing and assembling everything I still found some bugs and issues, which I believe are solved in this version 4.3 The idea is to build a Skyhunter full size 1800mm with a tilt rotor VTOL mechanism and try to design a tilt motor mount for that. BOM: for one side of the wing for the front mechanism you need: 1 Motor, I am going to use the SunnySky x2814s 1250kv, but due to the severe hole pattern, any kind of motor should fit to the motor mounts. 1 Servo Graupner C577 or ACOMS AS12 or similar for v5.1; for smaller motors in v4.3 it is designed to use the EMAX ES08MAII Servo 1 Ballbearing MR104ZZ 3 Allen-Hex-Screws M4x25 DIN912 3 Nylocks M4 DIN985 5 Allen-Hex-Screws M3x10 DIN912 1 Nylocks M3 DIN985 For the second side all parts have to printed mirrord! The data v5.1 is the left side, v4.3 shows right side (see where the cable channel runs)
