This is a streamlined model printing base that was designed specifically for vertical printing on high-end DLP or LCD printers like Moonray. It's not ideal for laser SLA machines such as Form2 or Moai, where cross-hatching would significantly increase print time. To save resin without compromising strength or reliability, the corners were rounded and a portion of the midsection was carefully carved out.
