VW up! boot lamp holder

VW up! boot lamp holder

First gen. VW up! did not have the boot lamp even in the highest of trims. This is my remedy. It consists of a PIR LED lamp with batteries mounted on one of the hooks in the boot. Glue the two parts together and mount the lamp with zip-ties. There are two holes in the front plate, those are for two M3 screws that will prevent the lamp to slide. I used "headless set screws", see image. Just to be sure: you must print this in ABS, PETG or other high temperature plastic. PLA will not work and will melt in a vehicle. For ABS gluing I use nitro thinners to do that, altough acetone should work just as well.
