It is common for the mounting feet on a Vanagon/T25/T3 dashboard binnacle to snap off at the screw slots. This piece is a clamp that grips whatever is left of the mounting feet so that the binnacle can be secured firmly again. The mount on the original binnacle is slightly curved, so tightening the screws on this flat piece will apply pressure over the length of the mount. The original self-tapping screws won't be long enough to work with this piece. Replace them with No.8 x 5/8" (4.2mm x 16mm). You'll need a handed pair. The STL file is for one side only, so just mirror it in your printer slicing software to create the other side.
