Vyper Direct Drive

This is my first attempt at this, so be gentle. This is a direct drive mount setup for the Vyper. ITS STILL BEING TWEAKED. It uses an E3D V6 Hotend. The entire setup should be supported by the levelling sensor. I replaced the stock stepper motor with a 17HS4023 stepper motor. Its thinner and lighter than the original. The wiring to the stepper does need to be modified in order to get it to spin the correct direction. The modified V6 adapter is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4914849 by Glutt0ne. I shortened this by 3mm in order for the nozzle to line up with the air ducts better on the satsana. The modified Satsana fan duct is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4611837 by BobanaPirate. If you make it and it works out for you, let me know! I am in the process of test printing with this setup. Edit 9/29/21: The Extruder mount bracket may not be needed if the three bolts are replaced with 3x M3x35 bolts. The adapter should be tight enough inside of the V6 adapter. Edit 9/30/21: I plan on having an updated version of the fan duct in the next week or so to fit the stock LED. Big move at home so computer and printer are down at the moment. Edit 10/1/21: Removed the extruder bracket for now. There are a number of modifications i need to do including adding holes for the stepper motor bolts. This piece will likely be optional anyway. An updated Fan duct will be uploaded this weekend. Satsana modifications: 1. Added hole and wire routing for led 2. Shortened by 2mm to better center the nozzle in the middle of the ducts while still leaving room for the PCB and plugs. Edit 10/2/21: Updated fan shroud .stl with above changes. Added updated version of the extruder bracket. The bracket itself no longer mounts to the back plate, added holes for the stepper motor bolts and added the viper head to the side plate that covers the extruder. Edit 10/21/21: Finally installed on my Vyper. Added a couple of pictures of it installed. I did find a couple of things that i need to adjust. The lower "shroud" at the bottom of the heat sink needs to be widened a hair to allow for better movement when levelling and i used the wrong size hole for the factory led. I drilled the hole out in my case but i will get around to adjusting the .stl file. Additional hardware: 4x M3x4x5 threaded press-in inserts for mounting - I drilled the holes out a bit so they would fit. I didnt want to thread the screws into the plastic. 8x M2x6 screws for blower fans 2x or 4x M3 screws for hotend fan. I only used the two from the stock cover. LED should press in (once the hole is the proper size) Im still working on spacers for the fan covers for all 3 fans.
